The Charter School, EDI’s innovative project, combines inclusiveness with contemporary minimalist features and tops it off with visual openness. This Kochi based project is simple and yet edgy at the same time. The indoor and outdoor area is connected via large facade openings, learning decks and terraces. The semi-covered terraces work as a viewing deck for the large playfields. Furthermore, the boat-shaped slope roof, liner shading devices and green screen walls are one of the salient features of the design.

Building plans of schools are made in such a way that they reflect the language of contemporary architecture. The shading devices that give a horizontal expression to the buildings make the campus area look even wider. The communal learning space comprising studios and common areas supports the 21st-century learning and teaching principles. The innovative and eye-catching facade of this global learning centre intrigues from outside as well as from the inside.
