Set in a lush green campus in Bangalore, Strate School of Design exemplifies harmony between architecture and nature. Designed by EDI, the campus embraces a minimalist, sustainable design ethos using clean lines, earthy materials, and nature-focused planning.

Academic and hostel buildings are constructed as PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) structures with exposed porotherm blocks, creating an organic, grounded aesthetic. The ground floor hosts an automobile design workshop, while classrooms occupy the upper levels. A signature gathering stair at the entrance doubles as a presentation space and gallery for student exhibits.

The hostel, overlooking a majestic rain tree, offers a warm, homely atmosphere, with open outdoor areas perfect for informal learning. The building’s orientation and material choices reflect a deep eco-conscious approach.

In a testament to environmental responsibility, EDI preserved existing fruit trees and addressed site challenges like a high water table with innovative design solutions—reinforcing its commitment to sustainable, student-centered architecture.
