Al Sahwa Schools appointed Education Design International (EDI) to design a comprehensive new campus on a newly acquired site, featuring a K–12 school, Leadership Academy, on-site residential housing, and commercial facilities.

In response to the client’s vision, EDI developed two distinct architectural design concepts. One rooted in traditional Islamic architecture, celebrating timeless forms, patterns, and cultural identity. The other offering a contemporary interpretation of Islamic design, integrating modern materials and aesthetics while honoring heritage. Both concepts reflect the school’s ambition to create a dynamic, inclusive, and future-ready educational environment, balancing cultural authenticity with innovative design.
