The Istanbul International Community School (IICS) redefines K–12 international education through a masterfully designed 28-acre campus that blurs the line between nature and learning. Designed by Education Design International, the campus includes the KG Block, Main Academic Block, and the Global Learning Centre, all interconnected through a unified, sustainability-focused vision.
Retaining the original building footprints, the master plan, facade, and interior design emphasize indoor-outdoor connectivity, extending the lush green landscape into the heart of learning spaces. A revitalized water channel-turned-bioswale forms a vibrant bio-conservatory, supporting both ecological sustainability and environmental education—anchoring the campus as a cohesive, nature-inspired learning ecosystem.
